Everything I Ate at Disneyland & California Adventure (July 2025)

July 28, 2025 No Comments

I am the farthest thing from a food blogger. But can you blame me for pulling a complete 180 in Disneyland? So many snacks, treats, and goodies to indulge in! In July 2025, my friend and I spent two days in the parks (one at Disneyland and one at Disney California Adventure) and were so eager to eat all of the fun treats! This was also during the park’s 70th birthday celebrations, so there were some added snacks to indulge in! Since it would be impossible to rank, below is a list in ABC order of everything I ate at Disneyland (and my honest thoughts about each).

Blue Milk

If you’ve ever stumbled down a Disney algorithm on Instagram, chances are high that you’ve seen Blue Milk. It is available at the Milk Stand in Star Wars Galaxy Edge for $8.99 a glass. Described as a mix of plant-based coconut and rice milks with hints of fruity flavors, it definitely wasn’t like drinking a glass of milk, but not quite like drinking a slushy either (as I’ve heard others describe it). I was eager to give it a try, but unfortunately this was just not for me. I tried my best to like it, but after only a few sips it met the inside of a garbage can. A little too quirky for my taste!

Chocolate Chip Cookies

I had heard such amazing things about the famous chocolate chip cookies from Harbour Galley in New Orleans Square. And they did not disappoint! The cookies are miniature-sized and come in packs of either 6 or 13. My friend and I split the 6-pack for $7.79 and it was the perfect snack while we waited in line for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. We only wished we had a tall glass of milk to wash them down. Pro tip: use the mobile order feature on the app to place your order and skip the (always very long) line!

Churro with Caramel Sauce

If you go to Disneyland and don’t get a churro, did you even go to Disneyland? Churro carts are found all over both parks, but we snagged one from the Cozy Cone Motel in Cars Land. The churro cost $6.99 and the side of caramel dipping sauce was $1.39. Always get the caramel dipping sauce (trust me on this).

Cookie Croissant

One of the best treats we got during our trip was the Cookie Croissant from Maurice’s Treats in Fantasyland. At only $6.29 you got a lot of bang for your buck! It’s hard to describe, but it was like a flattened croissant tossed in sugar and cooked like a cookie. We absolutely loved this and took bites of it all throughout the day when we needed a quick sweet bite. No notes!

Firetruck Slushy

Another snag from the Cozy Cone Motel in Cars Land was the Firetruck Slushy for $8.29. This slushy had real strawberries blended throughout, and you’d get big fresh chunks up the straw as you drank. It tasted like a fresh strawberry daiquiri (without the alcohol, of course). Garnished with a gummy candy on top for an extra sweet treat. It was so refreshing and we loved this!

Flo’s Classic Shake

In search of a classic sweet treat, the chocolate milkshake from Flo’s V8 Cafe in Cars Land hit the spot. It was a typical thick chocolate shake dusted with “road gravel” (aka crushed Oreos). The shake in a standard plastic cup was $7.79, or you can upgrade to a souvenir glass for $16.29. They were cute, but not worth the upcharge (or valuable space in my luggage) to me.

Flo’s Famous Fried Chicken

Also from Flo’s V8 Cafe in Cars Land was Flo’s Famous Fried Chicken. After being awake before the sun to rope drop, we snagged this full meal right when Flo’s opened at 9:30 am (without any shame). For $19.99, you get 4 pieces of fried chicken cooked to absolute perfection with a side of roasted garlic mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables. It was plenty to share with another person, and it was nice to eat a vegetable for the first (and only) time on this trip.

Hand-dipped Ice Cream Bar

When the mid-afternoon heat kicked in, we visited Clarabelle’s Hand-Scooped Ice Cream on Buena Vista Street for hand-dipped ice cream bars. For $7.49, you can customize your own ice cream bar exactly how you’d like! The vanilla bean base can be dipped in either milk or dark chocolate, and then sprinkled with your choice of toppings (such as chocolate chips, sprinkles, crushed peanuts, or Mickey confetti). While we were sitting outside eating our treats, guess who made a surprise appearance? None other than Clarabelle Cow herself!

Hot Dog & Filmstrip Fries

A classic combo, I snagged a hot dog and fries from Award Wieners in Hollywood Land. This was actually one of the better deals I came across: for only $10.79 you get a hot dog with a side of fries included! The fries (known as Filmstrip Fries) were thick, curled, lightly breaded wedges. Delish! I sat and ate on the curb in Hollywood Land while we watched the Better Together Pixar parade!

Hot Honey Tenders

After a day filled with nothing but sugary snacks, we were looking for some quick “real food”. We snagged a quick tray of Hot Honey Tenders at The Golden Horseshoe in Frontierland. The combo of three tenders with fries came to $14.99. They were delicious and filled us up, but honestly tasted more like a spicy BBQ sauce than a hot honey. Either way, they were a good blend of sweet and spicy. Pro tip: the kids meal was priced at $8.99 and only came with one less tender. I wish I noticed this before ordering to save a bit of money, since the three tenders were a lot anyway!

Macarooooon

A snack that is only available during Disneyland’s 70th Birthday Celebration, I snagged a Macarooooon from Alien Pizza Planet in Tomorrowland. At $8.29 a pop, this bright green alien-shaped macaron is filled with birthday cake buttercream and a confetti cake center. Topped with a chocolate birthday hat, this was such a fun and adorable treat. Pro tip: they only have a limited amount per day! We visited in the late afternoon and I was told they only had 6 more left. After that, they’re done for the day! If you want to get your hands on one, get here early!

Mickey Beignets

An evening treat, and a snack that was high on my “must eat” list: Mickey Beignets from the Mint Julep Bar in New Orleans Square. The beignets come in packs of either 3 or 6, and we split a 3-pack for $6.49 (which was honestly plenty!). Were they the best beignets I’ve ever had? No, but they were a solid treat. Powdered sugar covered my hands and clothes, which only meant I was doing it right. Pro tip: mobile order here to avoid long lines!

Mickey Mint Cookie Shake

The most expensive treat during the trip, but also the prettiest! The Mickey Mint Cookie Shake from Schmoozies! in Hollywood Land came in at $14.29. Steep, but very tasty and a perfect evening sweet treat. The shake was a chocolate mint base, which tasted just like a Girl Scout thin mint cookie. It was topped with whip cream and two Oreo Mickey ears. This is a treat for both the ‘gram and the stomach.

Mickey Pretzel

An absolute classic Disney treat! While there are several pretzel carts throughout the parks, we snagged ours at the small world promenade right before the Paint the Night parade. It was $6.29, but came with a side of cheese dip included. A great treat to snack on while we watched the sun slowly set over Fantasyland and waiting for the parade to start.

Minute Maid Frozen Apple Juice

An underrated, refreshing treat! The frozen apple juice from the Fantasyland Fruit Cart for $7.29 was such a pleasant surprise! While it is advertised as nothing more than a Minute Maid apple juice slushy, there had to have been more to it (we just couldn’t put our finger on what made it so uniquely good!). It was so tasty and the perfect relief to the hot afternoon sun. No notes!

Starbucks Iced Mocha

We were desperate for a mid-afternoon caffeine kick, so no shame in this game! Fiddler, Fifer & Practical Cafe located on Buena Vista Street has a full Starbucks inside, with all of the standard menu items you’re used to. The best part is that if you have a pre-loaded Starbucks card on your app, you can use that to pay. I got a grande Iced Mocha (non-fat milk, no whip) for $5.99, which is the standard to what I pay at any Starbucks.

Winnie the Pooh Marshmallow Wand

The last treat on the list, but ironically the first one I got in the parks was the Winnie the Pooh Marshmallow wand from Pooh Corner in Bayou Country for $7.99. This little shop/bakery was located just off the exit of the The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh ride. Three plump marshmallows on a stick were dipped in a layer of caramel, then white chocolate, and decorated so adorably. The best part was meeting Winnie the Pooh himself just a few seconds after getting it (and thankfully right before I took a bite). Do you think he loved it?
